One park + two valleys - High Park, the Humber and Don Valley
Recommended for: all casual riders - Broadview Ave. to the Don Valley is the only busy street - ride with caution; children should ride on the sidewalk.
Use the Toronto Cycling Map to get the most out of these three sample routes - available at most bike shops. Here is the TTC subway system map (pdf).
Fares: $2.75 adult one way, $0.70 for children. TTC weekend and holiday family pass (two adults, four children) is only $9.00!
HIGH PARK (from High Park subway station)
- Exit at the east end of the station, turn right/south. High Park is right across Bloor St. Click here to view High Park station from the air
- You can join the Waterfront Trail and Trans Canada Trail at the south end of the Park
- Print up the Waterfront Trail map to get from High Park to the lakeshore bikepath (pdf)
HUMBER VALLEY (from Old Mill subway station)
- Exit at the west end of the station, turn right/north, go past the driveway.
- Follow the "Discovery Walk" signs and turn right to go down the hill to the riverside bikepath

DON VALLEY (from Broadview subway station)
- Exit from the west end of the station, turn left/south to cross at the corner of Danforth Ave.

- Or, cross in front of Pizza Pizza and find the path behind the Adult High School into the valley
- Access to the Don Valley bikepath is via the footbridge at the very southwest end of the Park
