Burlington, from A to B by Bicycle

This bikes and transit sample route highlights the great easy bike riding to be discovered between the Burlington and Appleby GO train stations, and beyond!

From 'Burlington' station: cycle the bike lane south down Brant Street to Old Burlington and the Waterfront Trail. Follow the Trail southwest to The Beachway. Continue south along the shoreline, all the way to Hamilton's Beach Strip and Confederation Park.

On the way home: return to Burlington station, or ride the Centennial Trail from Martha St. in Old Burlington northeast to 'Appleby' GO train station.

  • Note: If you get off at Appleby to start the ride west, get on one of the first four cars of the train - due to construction at Appleby.
