The Grimsby 'greenbelt express' is the Coach Canada highway coach from downtown Toronto - with your bike in a bag and under the bus - to Main Street Grimsby in just under 65 mins (when traffic free). Cycle to the nearby Niagara Gateway tourism centre, then hit the Waterfront Trail east past classic Niagara waterfront neighbourhoods, then, up the Escarpment to the wineries and amazing cliff's edge views.
Next it's west along the Escarpment's ridge to the Dofasco 2000 Trail, emerging from the forrest and pasture at Hamilton's famous Devil's Punch Bowl waterfall. Then down, down, down to Gray's Ave. north to the Lake. Don't miss the farmer's market or the first Women's Institite! Hamilton Beach then sweeps you north along the Waterfront Trail to Burlington's Beachway and Waterfront, and up Brant Street to the GO Train.

Grimsby 'greenbelt express': BAY ST to MAIN ST - Coach Canada / BURLINGTON to UNION - GO Train
Recommended: for experienced riders. Casual cyclists can however easily follow the Waterfront Trail from Grimsby to the Bike Wine Route and return to the Grimsby GO Bus for the trip home. Shortcuts up the Niagara Escarpmment are at Woolverton Rd., Mountain Rd. and Park Rd, but the Mountainview route is the least steep. The Burlington GO Train to Hamilton Beach segment is ideal for children.

- The new Bikes and Transit .com "Bike Wine Route" begins south at Durham Rd.
- Ridge Rd. west along to top of the Escarpment has very light traffic.
